This collection includes various gastropods (snails, conchs) and bivalves (clams, scallops). Many of these appear polished for display purposes. The collection features several common types of shells:
-Conchs and Whelks: The large spiral shells are likely various types of conchs or whelks, which are large sea snails (gastropods). The bright green one may be a polished Jade Turbo shell.
-Clams and Scallops: The flatter, ribbed shells are bivalves, likely cockles, clams, or scallops. The large, iridescent white shell at the bottom is a polished mother-of-pearl clam or oyster shell.
