Authentic & Rare Chunky K2 Carved Flame

This rare and beautifully carved chunky flame is K2 Granite from Pakistan. It is named after the K2 Mountain region, the only locale in the world where it is found. It contains beautiful vibrant blue deposits of Azurite. Because of its rarity & limited availability, it does command a high price.

There is a LOT of "fake" K2 being sold all over the internet, including on this platform, most often in the form of Apatite in Cleavlandite, which is a beautiful stone in its own right but much more common and hence much less expensive. I have a beautiful Apatite in Cleavlandite sphere listed here in my store! It is NOT, however, K2, so don't be fooled by others trying to pass it off as K2! There are also sometimes common granite with blue dye, which I've seen a lot of on Etsy. Check out the Citrine Circle or Geology sites for good info on the subject.
