100% of the finest raw cotton from the West Indies is used for the chambray fabric. The warp threads are "wall-twisted" by twisting two threads with extremely different counts (50/1 and 30/1), and a natural unevenness and firmness are created in this thread, which is characterized by its uniform and supple texture. On the other hand, a thick single yarn (18/1) is used for the weft threads, and it is designed to allow you to directly feel the high-quality texture of Sea Island cotton. This time, by weaving this using an old-fashioned shuttle loom, it is finished with a voluminous and firm texture like vintage fabric. Sulfur dyes are used for dyeing the yarn. The weft threads, which originally used natural-colored yarn, are also pre-dyed in a light blue color that looks like indigo has transferred, and you can expect natural aging as you wear it.

The design source is the US Navy chambray shirt, commonly known as the M43 chambray. We asked a dress shirt factory that Japan is proud of to achieve fine sewing with more than 20 stitches per 3cm of stitching. The sides are ultra-thin rolled with 3mm, and the asymmetrical gusset unique to marine chambray has been reproduced. It features particular details such as the long point collar shape typical of the 40s and the original lacto buttons invented in Germany in the 20s.
