Ken Hamaguchi graduated from Tama Art University with a major in Japanese painting in 1997.
While mainly working as an illustrator, he also debuted as an art artist with the solo exhibition "Black, Sutra, and Others" (Takahashi Collection Kagurazaka) in 2008, and mainly develops painting works with motifs of pop culture and subculture such as music.
Recent solo exhibitions include "Maybe, the guts of the TV?" (WISH LESS gallery, Tokyo, 2021), "Tokyo Eight Views 2020" (un petit GARAGE, Tokyo), and "PICK YOUR GOD 2020" (WISH LESS gallery, Tokyo).
