This is a charming Alice in Wonderland tabletop mirror featuring the classic John Tenniel illustrations. Alice stands along the left edge, & the Cheshire Cat is perched up top with that famous grin. The quote "The Cat only grinned…" is printed along the bottom of the frame.
This piece was produced by Cottage Industry (Britain) under license from Macmillan Publishers. It uses the original Tenniel artwork, later colored by Harry Theaker. The mirror has a vintage storybook look and displays great on a desk, entryway table, or bookshelf.
Measures roughly 10" tall x 8.5" wide. The stand is intact on the back. Some light surface wear on the mirror and frame—nothing that distracts when displayed.
