This is a vintage Hammond World Atlas book from 1942 showing which Countries occupied by Allied forces & others occupied by Axis forces. The maps are very detailed. Also included are supplemental War area maps.
The paper jacket is worn, but original with no repairs.
Originally, one panel of the the large WWII map was glued inside the front cover. Someone had previously pulled the map out making a hole in the map along the southern edge of Australia. The map had also come apart at several folds & creases, so I used book tape on the back where needed to make the map more usable. I also patched the hole in the map and applied tape to the front & back in that spot. The book and jacket are as they were when I bought it.
The book is 13 1/4“ X 10 3/8 X 3/8“, & has 48 pages, with a small tear & corner crease at the bottom of page 1. Please look at the pictures.
