Condition: Good +.  Octavo size, 359 pp. Ernest Thompson Seton (1890-1946) was an author, wildlife artist, and one of the founding pioneers of the Boy Scouts of America in 1910, as well as being an early pioneer of the modern school of animal fiction writing, his most popular work being this book.Slight cracked at inner hinges.This book which was written at the end of the 19th century, by Ernest Thompson Seton, is a beautiful example of books of that period. It is a charming collection of wildlife stories by the English early conservationist and animal rights campaigner Seton, who became the naturalist to the government of Manitoba.
