18th Century ANTIQUE German Enamel DRUM Shaped Double Ended Snuff Box C. 1760

This is an exquisite antique German enamel snuff box. The box is shaped like a drum that opens on both ends. The box is mounted in silver. The background is white, and the ends and sides of the drum are decorated in floral sprays and gold decoration. Both ends open and close tightly, the clasps and hinges work well. There are silver stamps on the mounting - see photographs - but I am unable to identify them further. The piece stands 2 inches (5 cm tall) and is also 2 inches (5 cm) in diameter. This is an extremely old piece, estimated to be circa 1760 (Sotheby's estimate completed in 1997). There is some crazing in the enamel on the ends of the drum and one crack that I can find. This piece has been in my family's collection for decades and is ready for someone else to enjoy.
