This is a beatiful MS toned coin. You can see the mirror like shine in both the obverse and reverse. The toning on this coin is gorgeous. If it doesnt sell, Im thinkng of having it graded.
The San Francisco Mint is one of those businesses that has lasted a century and has no plans of stopping any time soon. The west coast mint was first established in 1854, as a result of the famous gold rushes. This mint is known for not only making the most coins, out of the four mints that produced Morgans, but they are also admired by their quality of coin as well. When comparing a Morgan minted at San Francisco and one minted at New Orleans, there is quite a noticeable difference. The strike is stronger, the designs last longer even when circulated, and the mint-mark is more prominent.
